Vision

To see Texas become the 21st century leader in Innovation, Democracy, and Education.

Robin’s vision is bold but simple:

Texas should be the undisputed 21st-century leader
in innovation, democracy, & education.

We have the talent, the resources, and the status.

But to lead the world, we must stop fighting culture wars and quibbling over words.

Let’s unite to build the infrastructure of the future that’s sustainable and transformative.

Austin should not merely survive the challenges of this century, but define the strategy and solutions.

Keep Austin Learning

The Goal: Position Texas as the gold standard for education innovation.

If we want Texas to lead the 21st century, we must build a robust K-16 pipeline. We cannot innovate with antiquated models; we have to be open to fresh ways of learning and teaching. Our institutions and public school system should be the envy of the nation—lifting and scaling the models that work, like the dual-language and STEM programs in AISD, and funding them like the national security priorities they are and must continue to be. We must also tackle digital online safety, ensuring our kids are safe in the digital public square just as they are in the town square.

We will forge industry partnerships that don't just prepare students for jobs, but empower them to create new industries. Education is the engine of innovation; let’s ensure that engine is fully fueled.

Through my work with the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC), I’ve partnered with colleges, and universities across Texas to strengthen their global engagement and prepare our students for career success. With both The University of Texas at Austin and Austin Community College right here in our district, I’ll champion policies that strengthen that entire pipeline — from pre-K to higher ed so that every student, no matter their path, can thrive in Austin and compete globally.

Keep Austin Working

The Goal: Be the architects of the AI economy, not victims of it.

The world is undergoing a massive technological shift, and there is currently little clear leadership. Texas, and particularly Austin with its status as Silicon Hills, has the great opportunity to be at the helm, guiding the world towards a more holistic and sustainable future that does not leave working families behind.

As we face the AI transition, we must be the ones setting the paradigm, establishing the rules. That means building out our community colleges and workforce programs to train Texans for the high-tech trades and the skilled labor that supports a modern economy–and modern families.

Innovation requires humanity. We cannot have a world-class economy with third-world family support. I will legislate to keep people at the center of AI, ensuring that as our economy evolves, it creates dignity and prosperity for workers. I will fight for low-cost after-care and transportation credits so that no parent is sidelined by a lack of support. Let’s build “Work, Play, Learn” communities—safe zones with market-priced homes located near excellent schools. Texas led the energy revolution of the 20th century; we will lead the digital revolution of the 21st.

Austin must remain a hub of innovation, creativity, and upward mobility that serves every Texan from student to parent.

Keep Austin Thriving

The Goal: Be a beacon of democracy in a fragile world.

Texas should be the model for how a diverse, 21st-century democracy functions. Instead, we are seeing an erosion of institutions that mimics the backsliding I witnessed in fragile nations abroad. Let’s unite to reverse this trend, protect our elections, defend freedom of speech, and stop state and federal overreach.

To lead the free world, we must practice what we preach at home. I will strive to ensure that Texas is a stronghold of personal liberty and democratic integrity.

The Goal: Lead the world in climate resilience.

Texas has always been an energy leader; now we must become the Green Energy Leader of the future. We must dominate the Water-Food-Energy nexus, not only for ourselves and our own resilience, but also for a world looking for innovating ways to grow food and sustain populations in hotter, drier climates.

Locally, this means practical innovation and creative exploration. I will push for partnerships to incentivize shade creation and sustainable urban planning. We should adapt our city to be resilient, comfortable, and energy-independent, proving that a hot climate can still be a thriving hub for Texans.

The Goal: Unapologetically championing rights and health of women and families'.

We must settle for nothing less than the best health outcomes for our people, starting with women and kids. That begins with Medicaid expansion. Leaving federal dollars on the table is bad business and a moral failure. Let’s push for a healthcare system that supports the Texans building and sustaining our collective future.

Join the movement.
