Competing on the global stage starts in the classroom. In order for Texas to lead the 21st century, we must make education a national security priority and ensure that we are investing heavily into the PreK-16 pipeline.
We must fully fund public schools, tackle digital online safety, forge industry partnerships that prepare students for the future, and financially incentivize students to pursue careers with critical shortages.
We should expand and reform the existing Teach for Texas loan forgiveness program to follow the University of Texas model of providing free tuition to students who fall below a certain income level.
Education is the engine of innovation, democracy, and progress; let’s ensure that engine is fully fueled.
Keep Austin working
Innovation depends on humanity. In this AI transition, we must be leaders in ensuring that Texas workers are not displaced, creatives are not sidelined, and families are not left behind as tech giants and corporations rapidly and deploy products at scale for the sake of profits.
Austin has the great opportunity and responsibility to be at the helm of building a more holistic and sustainable paradigm that keeps people at the center of technology.
We need stricter regulations of AI data centers to protect the environment and safeguard consumers while scaling up of community colleges and workforce programs to train Texans for high-tech trades.
Offer low-cost after-care and transportation credits so that no working parent suffers from lack of support.
Build “Work, Play, Learn” communities—safe zones with market-priced homes located near schools.

Be a beacon of democracy in a fragile nation.
We must empower voters by embracing true online voter registration, defend freedom of speech, and stop state and federal overreach.
We must lead the world in climate resilience.
Texas has always been a wind and solar energy leader; now we must become the Green Energy Leader of the future and dominate the Water-Food-Energy nexus.
Texas should be a healthcare leader.
With the best medical research complexes in the world, Texas has the resources to be a leader in healthcare. This means reproductive healthcare, Medicaid expansion, and extended clinic hours for working families. We must have a healthcare system that supports the Texans building and sustaining our future.
